Before I jet-setted off to Paris and London, local shoe-makers and friends from Poppy Barley sent me a pair of ethically-made, custom fit gold flats (sorry for all the adjectives) so that no matter where I walked, jumped, squatted, or ran, my feet would still be intact. And judging by my feet right now, I can tell you that they are, in fact, doing quite well (apart from the usual post-airplane cankle).
