It's kind of incredulous that February has already arrived, snow-less, brown and 10 degrees warmer than 2015's. But you know what? It can only mean that January was just that much fun. And with New York fashion week, a few weddings, and an impromptu trip to Los Angeles with Dani in April coming up, I really really can't wait for the rest of 2016 to come around. But you know, not so fast that I can't even remember how long January is supposed to be.

Fun fact: in two days, I will be turning twenty-four years old. Twenty-four. The age that tween-Alyssa used to think was really old. So it kind of has me thinking weird thoughts about where I am in my life and what I want to accomplish with the rest of it (there are no concrete plans right now, but sometimes you just have to go with the flow, you know?). I mean, yeah, it will just be another day, but it will also be the twenty-fourth time I have traveled around the sun. Anyway, there really was no point to that spiel except to express some sort of bland existential crisis. But hey, I recently found my faux fur leather coat and Eric has been consistently petting my arm. What's new with you?
